Foley & Foley, PC

Prior to joining our firm, Curran worked for several years as an employment attorney at a Fortune 100 company. She provides counseling and advice to clients regarding a variety of employment-related legal issues that arise in the workplace, including compliance with federal and state employment laws, personnel policies and employee handbooks, workplace investigations, disability and religious accommodations, performance management, reductions in force, and non-competition issues.

Curran also has significant experience defending employment-related claims before federal and state administrative agencies including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Department of Labor, the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination and the California Department of Fair Employment and Housing. In addition, Curran is an experienced business manager, having served as Chief of Staff to C-Suite executives. At Foley & Foley she will draw upon her dual background in law and business when collaborating with clients to provide practical advice that reduces legal risk and meets business needs.

New Arrivals In 2017:

Our New Lawyer – We are very pleased to announce that Curran Leahy-Lonigro will join our team.

We are always looking for new and improved ways to help our clients better manage HR related risk. This is what led us to develop seven new audits for 2017: FMLA and ADA Compliance Audit; Outsourced Economy: Independent Contractor Classification and Joint Employer Liability Audit; OSHA Function Audit; I-9 Audit; FLSA Wage and Hour and Timekeeping Function Audit; Personnel Files, Electronic Data Safety and Protecting Personal Information Audit; and New Hire Processing Audit. These specialized audits will shine a spotlight on specific areas where we know the Department of Labor has been increasingly focused. We know our clients, and we know you are short on time and increasingly short on resources. We developed these audits to allow you to focus on specific areas of compliance concern while minimizing the impact on your time and budget. Most importantly, all of our audit findings will be protected by the attorney client privilege, giving you the comfort of knowing you have identified and addressed compliance risks before they have become an expensive distraction.
