“’Change your thoughts and you can change your world’ is a quote by Norman Vincent Peale. Every day in life you see people with different moods and attitudes, some not the best, and when someone has a negative attitude it can have a negative effect on your and others’ moods. If you change your thoughts and live happily instead of negatively maybe our world will become a happier place.”

Dylan, Metro West Learning Academy Student

Over the next few weeks we may find ourselves searching high and low for the perfect gift to give to family and friends. In all of the hustle and bustle it’s easy to overlook some of the greatest gifts we can give each other which are time, knowledge, and freedom

Time
The gift of time means time to be ourselves, revel in our families and friends, create memories together, and lend a hand to those in need. There are a host of activities that are in and around the metro area that focus on spending time with one another and many ways to help.
