Evensong and Bach's Cantata 140 on Sunday, December 3 at 4:00 - 5:30 p.m. at St. Peter's Church in the Great Valley, 2475 St. Peter's Road, Malvern, PA 19355. Join us for Evensong, with music by Humphrey Clucas, Charles Villers Stanford, and an anthem, "E'en So, Lord Jesus, Quickly Come," by Paul Manz.

Following Evensong, J. S. Bach's Cantata 140 with strings, oboes, and harpsichord will be performed. Paul and Ruth Manz wrote "E'en So, Lord Jesus, Quickly Come" when their three-year-old son was critically ill. Ruth Manz reflected, "I think we'd reached the point where we felt that time was certainly running out, so we committed it to the Lord and said, 'Lord Jesus quickly come.'" The text comes from several verses in Chapter 22 of the Book of Revelation: "And night shall be no more; they need no light nor lamp nor sun for Christ will be their all."

Children, Youth, and Families Ministry Coordinator - Saint Paul's Church, Chestnut Hill , Philadelphia, PA .

The CYF (Children, Youth, and Families) Ministry Coordinator is a full-time, established position with benefits (insurance, and pension in year 2), and an efficiency apartment on campus if desired.

Full-time staff include the Rector, Administrator, Music Director, and Capital Campaign Facilitator.

At Saint Paul's we believe that children have an innate sense of the presence of God. Godly Play is a Montessori approach to faith stories, gaining for participants religious language, and enhancing their spiritual experiences through wonder and play (which is children's work).

Youth engage in a lifelong journey of questioning, exploring, and discovering together. Confirmation, Rite 13, service to others, and fellowship all offer an arena to find support and grace in their encounter with each other and God.

The CYF Ministry Coordinator is accountable to the Rector, manages budget responsibilities, and works collegially with other staff, volunteers, teachers, youth group advisors, and parents.  Email all documents to:  [email protected] Website: www.stpaulschestnuthill.org .
