Volunteers are needed for Topeka North Outreach, Inc. VBS CLUB every afternoon
TNO summer outreach to children in the Garfield Community Center area was such an overwhelming success that we decided to continue this ministry throughout the school year.  We currently meet every Friday with children to share an after school snack, an evening meal, prayers, service crafts, homework help and stories from the Book "In Darkness, a Light Still Shines ... for kids!  Children also take home a Weekend Food Sack to help with their weekend nutritional needs. TNO has now been asked to consider providing this ministry outreach DAILY. The children we are reaching are from very poor families who are neglected of love and parental care.  We are looking for caring Christian adults who would share God's Word & Love with these children 1 day each week from 3-5 pm. Please contact Theresa Gartner at 224-7126 if you are interested in serving in this ministry.

Grace and peace,
