MY CHILDREN ARE FIVE AND SEVEN.  They already know I'm not a chef, an artist or an editor. Right now, I'm known for burnt pots, stick figure drawings and long, rambling life lessons. TWO CAPE CENTERS TAKE ON VERY DIFFERENT COMMUNITY CHALLENGES.  Over the past few months, we've updated you on the five nonprofit organizations that received a total of $48,500 in Strategic Focus Grants from The Cape Cod Foundation to support important capacity-building initiatives across the Cape. In our final update, you'll learn how the Community Health Center of Cape Cod is driving substance abuse treatment and recovery. THE FUND FOR SANDWICH ANNOUNCES INAUGURAL GRANT RECIPIENTS.  The Fund for Sandwich of The Cape Cod Foundation recently awarded a total of $2,500 to five local nonprofits: Calmer Choice, the Cape Cod Military Support Foundation, Cotuit Center for the Arts, the Sandwich Council on Aging and Friends of the Sandwich Town Archives. The organizations offer projects and programs within the Sandwich community that positively impact children, teens, military families, and the elderly and support the town's historical initiatives.  PRESS RELEASE
