  • Designed for team members passionate about social justice and fighting institutional racism, White Allies for Social Justice is a new Belong group that offers a space for educators to examine what it means to be white, for members to critically reflect on how they could be negatively impacting members of other races, and to work to identify and confront racism in our schools to make a positive change. To learn more, sign up here and join the group from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Dec. 12 at the Emily Griffith Campus, 1860 Lincoln St. in room 735. Parking and snacks will be provided.

Kaytlyn McBride
Psychologist, Cory Elementary
Students First

"Kaytlyn McBride always puts Students First in everything she does. As a school psychologist at Cory Elementary, she focuses on all students, not just the students in her caseload.

Kaytlyn helps implement programs, like friendship group, and procedures for teachers to ensure the whole child is attended to at school. Her positive attitude and willingness to drop everything and help teachers and students in need is a support like none other. Making a difference in the lives of children is her passion and it clearly shows when she is working with first- through fifth-grade students each day. Thank you, Kaytlyn, for making our students' lives better!"
