Forgot Your Password? Check Out DoTS' New Password Policies
The Department of Technology Services (DoTS) is changing its password policy to make it more difficult for outside parties to hack passwords.
The new password policy only affects users with new accounts or users who reset their passwords after Dec. 4.
On Dec. 4, the following changes will be in effect.

The minimum password length will be 12 characters.
-
Your password will no longer require special characters, numbers or capital letters.
To manage your password, all users must register with the Self-Service Password Management tool at
myaccount.dpsk12.org. Once registered, users can manage their account at
iforgot.dpsk12.org.

White Allies for Social Justice and Veterans: Get Involved with Two New DPS Belong Groups

Two new DPS Belong groups are forming. Learn more below or click
here for information on all other Belong groups.
- Designed for team members passionate about social justice and fighting institutional racism, White Allies for Social Justice is a new Belong group that offers a space for educators to examine what it means to be white, for members to critically reflect on how they could be negatively impacting members of other races, and to work to identify and confront racism in our schools to make a positive change. To learn more, sign up here and join the group from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Dec. 12 at the Emily Griffith Campus, 1860 Lincoln St. in room 735. Parking and snacks will be provided.
- A new Belong group for military veterans is actively keeping veterans in DPS up-to-date on issues that may affect them. Veterans have an important perspective to share with our students and our educators as we strive for a rich, diverse and responsive dialogue in DPS and our community at large. Psychologist, Cory Elementary
"Kaytlyn McBride always puts Students First in everything she does. As a school psychologist at Cory Elementary, she focuses on all students, not just the students in her caseload.
Kaytlyn helps implement programs, like friendship group, and procedures for teachers to ensure the whole child is attended to at school. Her positive attitude and willingness to drop everything and help teachers and students in need is a support like none other. Making a difference in the lives of children is her passion and it clearly shows when she is working with first- through fifth-grade students each day. Thank you, Kaytlyn, for making our students' lives better!"
