The DC Chamber is preparing to select new officers and approve the 2018 slate for its Board of Directors with the election to be held at the 2017 Annual Meeting and Chairman's Inaugural Breakfast on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at the Washington Convention Center.
Rules to participate in the election are as follows:
Only "active" members (i.e., current dues-paying members) are entitled to vote at this membership meeting. In accordance with the DC Chamber of Commerce By-Laws, the voting procedure for this meeting does not allow for 'write-in' candidate board members of the DC Chamber of Commerce and nominations from the floor will not be accepted.
We at the DC Chamber value the input and participation of our entire membership, so even if you are unable to attend the annual meeting, we encourage you to vote by proxy. Please note that all proxy's must be in writing and received by December 11, 2017.

Details: The networking and event registration will begin at 8:00 am and our program will start promptly at 8:30 am featuring our keynote speaker Tom Donahue, President & CEO of the US Chamber of Commerce.
The Annual Meeting is the DC Chamber's opportunity to celebrate its accomplishments of the closing year, as well as, inaugurate the new chairman and board of directors for 2018.
