This coming Sunday is the first Sunday of Advent, which is four weeks of preparing for the coming of Christ. At LCPC, we will be celebrating Advent by looking at what it means to Abide in Christ through Faith, Hope, and Love.

Jazz Vespers is on the first Sunday of Advent, December 3 at 5PM in the Cook Prayer Chapel. This month's Jazz Vespers is a special Christmas-themed vespers featuring the Jack Lantz Little Big Band - with 7 players in close-up intimacy and informal worship. Join us for a time of joy, energy, meditation and liberation, as the 7-tet presents the music of Christmas in an upbeat jazz-style.
Congregational Care Ministry Support Team is hosting another opportunity for our LCPC "anchors" (retirement-age folks) to gather over lunch for inspiration and fellowship with one another. Special Christmas music with our own Diane & Kendall Wallace. Guest speaker, LCPC born and raised, Rev. Doug Edwards.

The afternoon will start with a free Children's Choir concert followed by family time with: cookies, hot chocolate bar, craft designed to guide you through the Christmas story as a family, and family photos with photographer Sarah Mariel.
