Help for Today...Hope for the Future

Robert Matusiak and Elaine Rose
When Elaine Rose's late husband Robert Matusiak was diagnosed with behavioral variant FTD in 2007, "we felt lost in the wilderness.... Life with FTD is such unknown territory."

AFTD provided indispensable guidance. " If FTD is in your life, you can't go without AFTD," she said. "Finding other people dealing with FTD made me realize I wasn't all by myself."

Today, Elaine is an AFTD volunteer and a support group facilitator in suburban Washington, DC. "AFTD has such a smart and compassionate staff -- I know they are working so hard and so efficiently to create a future without FTD," she said.

AFTD relies on your generous donations to provide help and hope for families facing this disease. Your support fuels every aspect of our work -- from educating the public about FTD, to funding research aimed at developing effective treatments, to ensuring high-quality support for all affected.

This Giving Tuesday, will you help us advance our mission with a 100% tax-deductible donation?
