Calling All Members! Come Support  Boston's Plastic Bag Ban

Help us get rid of plastic bags in Boston. The Boston City Council is voting tomorrow (Wednesday) at noon at Boston City Hall (on the 5th Floor).
We are asking any members to attend the meeting to show W2O's support for the plastic bag ban.
If you can't make it, please call or email your City Councilors and urge them to pass the ordinance. Please share with your Boston friends.

Urge them to vote in favor of the plastic bag ban ordinance (#17-19)!

These bags are plastic pollution. They litter our city, threaten wildlife and marine mammals who mistake them for food. They clog recycling equipment and storm drains. They break down into tiny plastics called microplastics that pollute our ocean and never go away. Nearly 60 cities and towns across Massachusetts have already passed a plastic bag ban. Urge Boston to join the movement.

Every voice counts in our defense of our blue planet.
