Today is #GivingTuesday and we need your help now more than ever.

We are challenging HUD in federal court, we are pushing back against Secretary DeVos in Congress, and we are supporting state and local efforts to develop progressive policies in the absence of federal leadership - new housing mobility programs for Housing Choice Voucher families, more robust and community-centered Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing plans, more effective and inclusive school integration programs, and new approaches to connect housing and school integration policy.

Our Board has pledged to match your donations up to $10,000. Donate today and double the impact of your gift!

P.S. Federal employeesPlease designate PRRAC as one of your CFC donations. Our CFC number is 11710

Subject: Are we on your list for #GivingTuesday?

Dear Friend of PRRAC,

Tomorrow   PRRAC will join thousands of organizations across the globe  to kick   off  # GivingTuesday . The international  day of giving harnesses the collective power of individuals,  communities,  and organizations to encourage philanthropy and to celebrate generosity worldwide.

As a PRRAC supporter ,  I  wanted you to be the first to know that  for our first # GivingTuesday  campaign , the PRRAC Board has agreed to mat ch all donations up to $10,000. That means that every Tuesday from now until the end of the year ,   you can help us raise $20,000  to face the tough battles ahead.

Across the board, the federal government is turning  back the clock on  civil rights and social justice issues. Department of Housing and Urban Development Secretary Ben Carson thinks poverty is a state of mind and has  suspended  a key civil rights rule in the Housing Choice Vouchers program. In partnership with  other civil rights organizations,  we filed a laws uit challenging the suspension - but this is just the beginning.

We  need your help to make sure we are ready to fight  for  a more inclusive society defending civil rights and supporting local innovation  in   fair  housing, education, and environmental justice.   Please put us on your list and e ncourage your friends to donate to PRRAC on #GivingTuesday

Sincerely,

Philip Tegeler
