December 2017
As the holiday season is upon us, and 2017 ends, it's certainly a time to reflect on the dramatic changes that have occurred over the last several years, and continue to take shape, in Anderson Township. It's been an amazing three years, initiated by Belterra Park's opening in 2014, continuing into Mercy Health - Anderson Hospital's expansion in 2016, redevelopment and expansion of the Anderson Towne Center that is nearly complete, and the ongoing transformation of all nine schools in the Forest Hills Local School District that will continue through 2019.

This is only a sampling of the hallmark projects, but certainly doesn't consider home construction in eight subdivisions, countless new tenants drawn to all corners of our community and millions of dollars in investment in public infrastructure projects during this time frame. Changes are not complete yet, as these efforts continue to trigger additional private investment in our community that will continue into 2018 and beyond!

It's thrilling to witness this dramatic transformation, and in the spirit of the Thanksgiving season that has just past, we are truly thankful for all that have and continue to contribute by laying the seeds for our community's future. If you haven't seen us lately, we encourage you to visit our community for yourselves!

In the meantime, please enjoy the latest edition of our Anderson Business Update, an initiative of the Anderson Township Economic Development Committee. This update is issued on a periodic basis, showcasing news and economic developments in Anderson. This edition touches on a few of the most recent additions to our business community, and peeks into our future, to provide a taste of what's on the horizon in Anderson.

Finally, we have included a listing of recent business openings and/or announcements, as well as a listing of available properties in the community.
We are excited about the strengthening of Anderson Township's economic base, to ensure our place as one of Greater Cincinnati's most desirable communities to live, work and play!

Best wishes for a wonderful Holiday Season and 2018, which will be Anderson's 225th Anniversary!

Sincerely,

Joshua S. Gerth, Trustee President
R. Dee Stone, Vice President
Andrew S. Pappas, Trustee

Stonecrest Senior Living Plans Assisted Living, Memory Care Facility on Beechmont Avenue
A six-acre site off Beechmont Avenue is slated to become home to a new senior assisted living and memory care community, with an opening planned in summer of 2019.

Stonecrest Senior Living community plans call for a two-story building consisting of 89 units (99 beds) to serve seniors in an 80,000-square-foot building. Owner NP Development, based out of Kansas City, has constructed other similar senior communities throughout the Midwest including developments in Michigan, Pennsylvania and Missouri.

The new community is proposed for approximately six acres on the western end of the Beech Acres property, on Beechmont Avenue.

"We are excited to be located near Beech Acres Park and the Anderson Parks RecPlex, reflecting our approach to the importance of being integrated into the community and people we serve," said Sherrie Gayed, project coordinator with NP Development. "We look forward to being involved in many of the great activities in the Anderson area."

Residents will have the option of several spacious apartment choices. Other amenities include luxury accommodations, all day dining choices, an active bistro and pub, a salon, concierge services and 24-hour staffing.
