Dear Friends,

As 2017 winds down into this season of quiet reflection, I want to express my gratitude to our class participants, writers, creatives, volunteers, donors, staff and faculty. Each and every one of you gives of yourself throughout the year to make this community special.

Last Thursday evening I attended the Abundance Circle led by our founder, Mary Pierce Brosmer. I was delighted to sit in circle with 28 individuals and enjoyed writing, listening, and sharing: a true abundance of authentic presence.

Creating and sustaining vibrancy in an organization such as ours may appear effortless, yet it comes with a variety of challenges, along with many gifts, and learnings along the way.  The ongoing attention we give to caring for this container is one of many ways we keep this community healthy and connected.  Continually returning to the practices that we share, with writing and a love of language as our common medium, we grow and deepen in our lives as individuals and as a collective.

Some of you have been coming to our circles for more than two decades, and others are in your first semester, or perhaps considering joining us for the first time in 2018.  Whatever your connection, we hope to provide a welcoming, safe, and inspiring environment.

Sending warm wishes for a joyful and peace-filled holiday season~

Gratitude to Our Community!

Thank you! Your generosity, of spirit, volunteering, and financial support, increases the vibrancy of this community of writers and allows more to benefit from the writing circles.

Most recently, you added over $1600 in support for Scholarships and Outreach through #GivingTuesdayWWf(a)C. Many of you have contributed throughout the year to the Founder's Circle and Annual Fund appeals, which continue until December 31st. With your help, we near our $75,500 Annual Fund goal. These dollars help fill the gap between tuition and fees received and the cost to run these programs.

WWf(a)C is also participating in the P&G/Cincinnati Magazine Cincinnati Gives
community-wide appeal, which continues to January 2nd. This is another opportunity to support Scholarships and Outreach for WWf(a)C or to take up the cause and run your own personal online appeal on behalf of WWf(a)C, if you so choose. Check it out at Cincinnati Gives.

If you have not had an opportunity to support WWf(a)C yet this year, please consider one of these options. We appreciate all that you do to keep the WWf(a)C community strong. Thank you!
