See My Success: John I. Leonard HS Medical Academy Students Win Grant to Teach CPR to Middle School Students
A group of John I. Leonard High School Medical Academy students had an idea that may just save a life. Thanks to a grant from Palm Beach Philanthropy Tank and investor Bill Meyer, they are able to take that idea on the road to educate middle school students on hands-free CPR, basic first aid and how to respond in a medical emergency.

"Some of the students are really into it," said John I. Leonard Medical Academy teacher Tania Martinez. "The middle school students look up to [the high school students] as role models and they are getting great feedback."  Read more...
Deadline to Apply for Performing Arts Choice Programs is December 1
The following Choice Performing Arts programs have an application deadline of  December 1, 2017:  
  • Bak Middle School of the Arts (all programs)
  • The Conservatory School @ North Palm Beach-Symphony Orchestra program (grades 6-8)
  • Boynton Beach High School Arts programs (Dance, Digital Media, Music-Band, Music-Vocal, Theatre and Visual Arts)
  • Alexander W. Dreyfoos, Jr. School of the Arts (all programs)

Comcast Now Accepting Nominations for Leaders & Achievers Scholarship Program

Comcast is currently seeking nominations for its 2018-2019 Leaders & Achievers Scholarship Program.  

The program, funded through the Comcast Foundation, recognizes high school seniors from Comcast communities for their commitment to community service, academics, and demonstrated leadership. To acknowledge these accomplishments, recipients of the award will receive a one-time grant of $1,000.
