Happy Thanksgiving to all of our YANA DC members! We are thankful for your commitment to increasing the impact of Yalies for the social good in the DC metro area, and we look forward to even more of it in the year to come. We're excited about our upcoming plans, including our first group volunteering event on December 13 (details below).

Responding to Upheaval, was an amazing opportunity for our members to meet with practitioners in the field to discuss their work and recent events. The panel discussion was lively and interactive. Volunteering Opportunity: Offender Aid and Restoration Wrapping Party

Help YANA DC help OAR!
Offender Aid and Restoration, Inc. (OAR) is a community-based restorative justice organization that assists offenders in leading productive and responsible lives. Each year OAR collects holiday gifts for children of incarcerated and recently released parents and distributes the gifts to the children. Join us
for OAR's Wrapping Party t
o select gifts for the children, wrap them, and prepare them for delivery. Join us after the Wrapping Party for a YANA social hour at Metro 29 Diner (4711 Lee Highway, Arlington).
