Indiana Arts Commission's
New Grant Opportunity for Artists
& Informational Webinars

Hello artist members!

As a Regional Arts Partner of the Indiana Arts Commission (IAC), I would like to make sure you are aware that the IAC has renamed the Individual Artist Program to the "Individual Advancement Program." Our state's arts agency has also introduced a new category of funding for emerging artists.

Individual Advancement Program for Artists
The Individual Advancement Program (IAP) supports projects that have a positive impact on any phase of an artist's career and directly benefits the public in Indiana and/or engages an Indiana community. Artists may request up to $2,000!

Early Career Category

The IAC will now support artists who have been pursuing their career for less than five years (excluding formal educational or apprenticeship training) through the Individual Advancement Program's Early Career category. These applications will be paneled separately from other IAP applications.

Upcoming Grant Application Webinars for Artists
The Indiana Arts Commission will be holding several webinars to help artists get acquainted with the program. They will review:
  • What projects are a good fit for this program
  • How to write a strong application
  • Next steps for applying

Webinar Dates:
