First Friday Garden Walk at Washington Oaks Gardens State Park 

       Friday, December 1st

Join a Ranger the first Friday of the month at 10am for a walk through our historical gardens.  Learn about the history of our park while exploring the beauty of the formal gardens. The walk is approximately 1 hour.    

Please bring water and wear comfortable walking shoes.

Meet in the Garden parking lot.  
Garden walk included with park entry.

Second Saturday Plant Sale

The Friends of Washington Oaks are here to give personal attention and answer your questions as you purchase Florida friendly plants and novelties for your home and yard.  This month will feature plants for gift giving. 

At 11am, our volunteers will offer a Plant chat on "Caring for Poinsettias". Visitors will learn hints and tips for the proper handling of this seasonal favorite before, during, and after the holidays. 

 Join the Friends of Washington Oaks to get 20% off  your plant purchases! 

Our Plant Bench volunteers now have their own dedicated phone line at the park.  Please leave a voice message at 386-302-5590. Volunteers are not at the park daily. Please be patient as your call will be responded to as soon as possible.
