The Little Bundle From Heaven Has Arrived!
We are so very happy to announce the birth of little Miss Avery Ann Holmes! She was born very early this morning at 4:38 am and came into the world weighing 6 lbs., 7 oz. and 18 inches long. What a cutie pie she is! We have been told that the entire Holmes family, along with big brother Kellen are so excited she has joined the family! The St. Bernadette School community send out welcome wishes and huge hugs to all of them on this joyous and memorable day!
Bulldog Homecoming
Our 8th grade football players and families were recognized at Homecoming on Sunday, September 10th. It was a beautiful day for a game and we had a big turnout who cheered our bulldogs onto a 20-8 victory against OLA! The Orbany family was honored and everyone enjoyed the parish festival afterwards.
Alum News
A few of our former St. Bernadette Bulldogs enjoyed homecoming last weekend. What a gorgeous group! Congratulations and enjoy your remaining high school years!
Thank You! Thank You! Thank You!
Our annual Magazine Sale has officially ended. Many of our students earned prizes and other incentives throughout the sale. We sold over $16,473.00 and made a profit of $6,589.20! Congrats to all of our winners! A huge THANK YOU to Mrs. Ellen McElvany and her crew of volunteers for organizing this FUN draiser and to all the families for ordering and supporting St. Bernadette School.
Make a Joyful Noise Unto the Lord
Mrs. Mary Pokrywka, our church choir director, is in search of students who love to sing and would be interested in joining either the children's (gr. 3-5) or the junior high (6-8) parish choir. Rehearsal is only twice a month and the choir sings for one Mass per month. It is a great way to praise God and get to know other kids in the church community. Questions? Contact her at: mpokrywka@stbern.net
