WEEKLY ANNOUNCEMENTS

Reitz Memorial Announces New Global Awareness Initiative:
We live in a world that is inextricably interconnected ...where goods, services and information move back and forth across national borders, bringing peoples of different histories, religious beliefs and cultures into ever closer contact.

In recognition of these realities, Reitz Memorial will launch a new curriculum option for the Fall of 2018 to help students develop the knowledge and skills needed to successfully navigate the rigors of a global economy while grounded in the morals and ethics of the teachings of the Catholic Church.
Christmas Dance Guests:
If you are bringing a student who is NOT from Reitz Memorial to the Christmas Dance, you must have a Dance Guest form filled out. Dance Guest forms are available in Mr. Wilgus' office. Completed forms must be returned to Mr. Wilgus' office no later than 3 PM on December 1

Yearbook Ads for Seniors:
It’s time to order a yearbook ad for your favorite senior! The advertisement will go in the back of the 2017-2018 yearbook. For $50.00, we will print one photo of your child next to a short message from the person placing the advertisement. It is a wonderful way for you to wish your child well, in something that they will keep for the rest of their life.

Please return the following form, picture, and payment to the Main Office  by Friday, December 15.  If you have any questions, please email Lee Ann West at [email protected].
Choir for Bishop Siegel Installation:
The Diocesan Choir will sing for Bishop Siegel’s Installation Mass on Friday, December 15 at 2pm at the Cathedral. The Choir is open to singers in high school and older. Reading music is helpful but not required. Due to the LIMITED SEATING nature of the choir area, PLEASE RSVP to participate. Practices (in the school basement) are scheduled as follows:

Tuesday, November 28:        5:30 pm to 7:30 pm
Sunday, December 3:           2 pm to 4pm
Tuesday, December 5:          5:30 pm to 7:30 pm
Sunday, December 10:         2 pm to 4:30 pm
Tuesday, December 12:        5:30 pm to 7:30 pm

It is a busy time of year for everyone, and the practice schedule is significant and the music will be challenging BUT rewarding! We will do our best to allow as many singers as possible to participate. Please contact Jeremy Korba at (812) 589-3886 or via email at [email protected] with questions or for more information. We want to welcome our new Bishop with prayerful music.
