Hello Church,
In light of recent tragedies, our staff meet with Commander Quiñonez of the APD and an agent from the ATF to devise a plan to be as prepared as we can be in the event of an active shooter situation. We want to provide a safe environment for our children and our members and relying on our church members to be carrying firearms is not a comprehensive plan.
We are working on improving some areas and processes in order to keep our children safe. These improvements may seem like an inconvenience at first, but please understand that your child's safety is our first concern. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we make adjustments.

FX Pajama Party
Bring the whole family in their comfortable (yet appropriate) PJ's and celebrate Christmas with fun games, give aways, and hot chocolate. Sunday, December 17th at 5:00 p.m. in the gym.
Youth Ornament Exchange
Wednesday, December 20th at 6:30 p.m. in the youth room, we'll have an ornament exchange. Boys bring something sweet and girls bring something salty. And, don't forget a wrapped ornament (homemade or purchased, meaningful or silly).
Cincinnati Spring Break Mission Trip
March 16-23, 2018 Cost is $700.
KillSwitch Only trip, we'll connect with Bryce Pinson's youth ministry in Groesbeck, OH and their ministry to the city. (These are tentative dates and prices)
Planet Wisdom Conference
February 23-25, 2018. Cost is $135. Deposit of $50 is due December 31st. Planet Wisdom is a two day, regional discipleship conference designed to challenge middle and high school students to dig deeper into the Bible and see their world from God's perspective. Communicators: Fred Lynch, Caesar Castillejos, and The Skit Guys.
Student Life Camp
YMCA of the Rockies, Estes Park, CO. Cost - $450. Payment of $90 due the first of February, March, April, May, and June.

2018 Budget
A vote on the 2018 budget will be taken Sunday, December 10th.
Giving Opportunities
$40 will buy shoes for an orphan in Ukraine. Donations can be given online or mark your check or envelope (shoes). Donations will be taken through December.
Lottie Moon Christmas Offering for foreign missions. Donations taken in December.
Mainspring Women's Ministry
For Mainspring's monthly meeting, December 6th, all ladies will meet at La Fonda at 6:00 p.m. In exchange of gifts we will be taking up a donation benefiting the Orona/Palmer family.
