7:30 pm / Blue Christmas
Christmas can be a time of anxiety for those experiencing pain and loss. How will you get through the holidays? This service is one of comfort, hope and renewal for those facing life's challenges.
This Sunday - Second Sunday in Advent
I wonder if God comes to the edge of heaven each Advent and flings the star into the December sky, laughing with joy as it lights the darkness of the earth; and the angels, hearing the laughter of God, begin to congregate in some celestial chamber to practice their alleluias. . . Perhaps when God calls, perhaps they just come, this multitude of heavenly hosts.  Perhaps they come, winging through the winds of time, full of expectancy, full of hope that this year...perhaps this year...perhaps...the earth will fall to its knees in a whisper of "Peace.'     ~ Ann Weems

By the end, we have the opportunity to submit our devotions to Reflections, the magazine that Carol Younger, our workshop leader, edits. Contact Carol for more information or to RSVP.

Toy Drive
A Tough Question...
How many of us would give the children in our lives another child's used toys for Christmas because we couldn't afford new ones? Too often that is the only option for parents and caregivers of the children of the   Colony Houses South Brooklyn.

Let's all Reach for the Stars  on the Christmas trees at Plymouth. The stars will suggest a new toy for a girl or boy. Pick your star, purchase a toy from our shopping list and help make a Colony child's Christmas.

Rather Reach for the Stars online?  No problem. Purchase toys from our Toy Drive Amazon wish list and have them shipped directly to Plymouth (attn. Plymouth Toy Drive).  Click here and get shopping.

Please deliver your toys to Plymouth by Wednesday December 13.
