Pastoral Letter to the people of Peninsula United Church Over the next few weeks we are taking some significant steps in our journey together. On November 26, at the end of our Sunday morning worship service, we walk together out of a building that has housed Sunday worship services since 1956. We've planned worship services that recognize and celebrate the gifts of God poured out for us and for those who've gone before us in this place......

Prayer Request
We have new prayer request forms and envelopes for those wanting prayer from our prayer teams for family, friends, or themselves. The forms are on the tables in the narthex and outside the door of the worship area that leads to the elevator. Forms may be sealed in the envelope and put in prayer boxes or given to a minister.
It is our privilege to pray for you and yours.

Thursday Community Dinners
At our Community Dinners this fall, between 60-70 folks have enjoyed the tastiest, home cooked meals in town. And we have all enjoyed creating a community of diners and volunteers. Dinners on the first and third Thursdays of the month will continue at the White Rock site until Dec. 21 when we will prepare a Christmas dinner. In February the dinners will move to the Star of the Sea hall on Pacific Avenue and the dates will be the second and fourth Mondays of the month. This outreach initiative is a collaboration of Peninsula United Church and Sources and is now in its sixth season. We are grateful for the enthusiasm and expertise that have been so graciously volunteered by so many.
The remaining dates in 2017 are Dec. 7 and 21.
Dates in 2018 are Feb. 12 and 26, March 12 and 26, April 9 and 23, May 14 and 28, June 11.
