The Contractor will be backfilling and grading yards the week of November 20 ^th .  Weather depending, the roadway and driveways will be open to traffic middle to the end of the week.

70^th Street to 73^rd Street

The Contractor will be back filling and grading yards the week of November 20^th.  Weather depending, the roadway will be open to traffic middle to the end of the week.

All concrete work is complete on  64^th Street.  The Contractor will be grading and we be finishing retaining walls the week of November 20^th.

The Contractor is repairing the intakes at 73^rd Street and Del Matro Avenue and will finish grading around those the week of November 20^th.  

Mission:

Small Business Saturday happens on November 25 ^th and for the first time ever the Windsor Heights Chamber of Commerce is taking part in this "Shop Small" event. We'll get started at Grounds for Celebration at 9:30 Saturday morning. Each "shopper" will receive a Shop Small cloth shopping bag with information about our members and a "Small Business Saturday Passport". Our participating members will be listed and your task is to visit each one, get your "Passport" stamped and take advantage of their specials of the day.

Volunteer for a Board, Commission or Committee: The Mayor and City Council hope you will help continue to make Windsor Heights a great community to live, work and play. There are several volunteer opportunities if you are looking to become more involved within the community. There are three openings on the Planning and Zoning Commission, one Development Committee, one opening on Board of Adjustment, one Public Safety Committee and one Public Works Committee. We are always looking for volunteers for special events. Contact us if you have any questions on how you can get involved in Windsor Heights. The City News Hour for January 8, 2018 is at 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. at the Windsor Heights Community Center will be the University Avenue redesign concepts. From 5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m., will be an interactive presentation on the concept designs for University Avenue. Attendees will be able to do instant polling and provide immediate input on the design amenities and roadway concepts. This concept is the initial concept.  The final concept will be brought back to council in March for approval.  From 6:30 p.m. -7:30 p.m., we will have a question and answer session. During the month of January, we will have the survey online for you to take if you cannot make the city news hour. We are looking forward to your input on the project.
