Convention Materials Online & on the App 
 
You can access all the resolutions, reports, and other materials for this year's convention on the Convention website. In addition, I strongly encourage you to make use of the Convention app from your smartphone or tablet. Not only does it have all the same information as the website, it stores it locally on your device so that if you lose internet connectivity, you still have access to the information you need. In addition, the Convention app allows you to easily connect and interact with other Convention attendees.


Parking
 
A discounted parking rate of $6/day at the Hyatt is available for all Convention attendees. If you are staying overnight at the hotel, you will receive your parking pass when you check in at the front desk. If you are commuting, you can request a parking voucher at the registration table. Payment is required before you leave the parking lot, and a payment machine is located conveniently next to the vendor hall.
 
Social Media at Convention 

We hope that you will join the conversation on social media at this year's Annual Convention and help share the exciting news of what is happening in our life together! You will find the Episcopal Church in Connecticut on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, and we can't wait to hear what you have to say and to see the sights and sounds that you capture at Convention.

We will be using #ECCT, so be sure to add it to your commentary so others can see what you have to say. In addition, you can view a Social Wall of all the tweets and instagram photos that come through this year's Convention, using the link below.


Elections 

The 233rd Annual Convention will hold elections for positions on the Standing Committee and Mission Council, and this year all positions are contested. You can get to know the candidates as you prepare your informed vote by reading their biographies online. When you are ready to vote, use the link below (also available online and on the app) to the Electronic Ballot to cast your vote*

Pre-Convention Workshops     
 
At this year's Annual Convention, we are offering a variety of Pre-Convention workshops for attendees to take part in. These optional opportunities expand on the content and work of Convention and are designed to enhance your Convention experience. This year's workshops are:

  • Transition Pathways in ECCT Today
  • Clergy & Lay Sabbatical Program: Report from 2016 Resolution 8

Walk-in Registration 

If you missed the pre-registration for this year's Convention, you can do a walk-in registration upon your arrival at the registration table. Please see one of our friendly greeters for more information.

Convention Schedule 

The first business session of the 233rd Annual Convention will begin at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, November 17 and convention business will come to a close at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 18. You can view the full convention schedule online using the link below.
