Supervisors Move Forward with the Schematic Design for a New Hershey Community Center
The Board of Supervisors authorized the execution of an agreement with Kimmel Bogrette Architecture and Site Inc. for the schematic design phase for the proposed Hershey Community Center. The schematic design phase will include architectural and sitework design, input from electrical and mechanical engineers, and an aquatic consultant. A decision on the size of the pool, 25-meter, or 50-meter, has not been made.
The Township will secure a line of credit in which interest will be paid only on the funds that are drawn down. The maximum amount of interest to be paid in 2018 is $33,000 and has been included in the 2018 operating budget.

Hershey All Things Diversity Presents Navigating the Generations: Creating an Inclusive Community
for All Ages
The second session in the Hershey All Things Diversity series
Navigating the Generations: Creating an Inclusive Community for All Ages will be presented on Monday, November 20, 5:30 to 7:15 p.m.

This session will provide an opportunity to learn more about the general characteristics of each of the age groups and to brainstorm inclusive strategies for the different generations.
The session will be held on the main level of The Hershey Story located at 63 West Chocolate Avenue. A light supper and dessert will be provided to attendees. The educational sessions are organized by the Township, Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, The Hershey Company and Hershey Entertainment & Resorts.
