JKHA was filled with acts of chesed during the month of Cheshvan. Students were challenged to perform acts of kindness at home and in school, and school-wide chesed opportunities included a food drive for JRA and filling a communal bucket of kindness, representing each wonderful act performed by our students.
Israeli's all across the country have been voting on a new logo for the IDF to mark Israel's upcoming 70th anniversary celebrations. JKHA Middle School students also had the opportunity to vote for their favorite logo out of three options.

BOARD OF TRUSTEES
Past presidents from several of the last decades attended theJKHA/RKYHS November 2017 Board of Trustees meetingon Wednesday evening. This group of committed community and school leaders all remain actively involved in supporting the school. TheNovember meeting alsoprovided an opportunity for the current Board of Trustees to recognize and pay tribute to members of the Board who are stepping down after many years of dedication and service, including Mrs. Robin Klatt (pictured 5th from left) who has played a pivotal role in leading fundraising and has served in many other Board leadership positions for over 30 years. The Board also recognized former vice president of the school and longtime member of the Board of Trustees Mrs. Malkie Ratzker, and retiring board member Mrs. Tzippy Warshaw.
