Girls Junior High Volleyball Wins Tri-Way League
Congratulations to our junior high girls volleyball team for defeating Pegasus on November 2 to bring the Tri-Way championship title to our Fairmont Historic Anaheim Campus!

After a great season, the girls faced their first-round opponent, Calvary. The girls made easy work of this game, winning both matches handily, 25-9, 25-12. During the next round in the semifinals, the girls faced off against Carden Hall at home. After falling in the first game 15-25, they came back strong and took the second game 25-14 and third game 15-13 for the overall win of the match.

Pegasus was their next opponent for the finals match, and they even had to play on Pegasus' home court. All three games were very close, but after initially falling behind and losing the first game 21-25, the girls were able to edge out Pegasus in both the second (25-21) and third (25-22) games for the win.

We are proud of all of our girls for their play on the court and their leadership off the court!

Drama Production: "Once Upon a Javabucks"
Our junior high drama class showed off its production of "Once Upon a Javabucks" on November 2. The show explores what life is like when people are forced to slow their busy lives, put down their cell phones, and connect to other people.

The play, written for our HAC drama elective, is based upon the original character ideas and plot. The cast and crew did a wonderful job!

Original Works Student Art Fundraiser
We are excited to announce that we will be partnering with Original Works for a winter art fundraiser! This year, everything is online. Through the Original Works program, students created original pieces of artwork that you can have reproduced onto a variety of high-quality products, including magnets, mugs, T-shirts, and nearly two dozen other products.

Your Original Works family order forms should be coming home soon with your child's artwork and special code on it. All ordering will be completed online. The company has scanned the original artwork from each student, and each student has a special image title code and a student code that will be needed during the ordering process.

The directions are below and will be on the paperwork you will receive, as well.
  1. Go to www.originalworks.com.
  2. Click on Gallery on the navigation bar
  3. Enter the school code: Fps (F must be capitalized).
  4. In the Title box, enter the image title from the paperwork given to each student.
  5. Click on your child's artwork image, and view it on more than 30 products.
  6. Order by clicking on the image of the products you would like. Input the student code from the order form, and you will be able to complete the order process.
  7. All orders are completed online and must be submitted by Monday, November 20, 2017.

Orders will be delivered to our school on Friday, December 8.
