The auction is this Saturday! The sanctuary is filling up with colorful and festive décor... unique & wonderful auction items are being displayed... preparations are underway for a delicious Cuban meal... and we have a few tickets available so there is still time to join us! Personal Items for Shelter Residents
New socks, men's underwear (L & XL), and toiletries will be collected throughout December for residents of local shelters. Posters from our 4th-5th grade RE kids help spread the word. Contact: Ray Messing ([email protected]).

Gift Cards for Coachman Family Center
Help a family at the Coachman by signing up to purchase a $25 gift card for their school-age children. Beginning Sun Dec 3, we will have the age and gender of the children plus the type of card they prefer. Please box and wrap the gift cards, tag with the child's name and room number, and bring in by Sun Dec 17. Contact: Ray Messing ([email protected]).

The Mitten Tree is Coming!
Help us decorate it by donating mittens, gloves, hats, and scarves for all ages and sizes. Share the gift of warmth! We will be collecting until Sun Dec 31.

From the Animal Advocacy Social Justice Team
To all congregants who contributed in the month October to our Sunday Share-the-Plate collection, many thanks for your kind generosity! The total $2,202 collected will be sent to the International Fund for Animal Welfare and earmarked to help the animals who were affected by the recent hurricanes down south. Also a sincere thanks to our wonderful Matching Fund donors!
Share the Plate for November: Ecumenical Food Pantry 
 
The recipient of half our non-pledge collection this month is the Ecumenical Emergency Food Pantry. The all-volunteer staff works 51 weeks a year providing food to 400+ families each month. CUUC was a one of the congregations that founded the pantry and has supported it throughout its 38 years with both funds and long-time volunteers.

We also need new (not used) underwear and socks. Ask friends and neighbors, too - whatever we collect will be gratefully received by the homeless!
