Are you in search of a new life direction? Do you have an ache for something better? 

In Mark 1:17, Jesus said, "Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men." 

What would happen if you were to follow Jesus?

Paul explains it this way in 2 Corinthians 5:17: "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation: old things have passed away; behold, the new has emerged." 

What this means is that to be "in Christ" is to follow Him. 

When we follow Jesus, two things are going to happen: (1) we are naturally going to be on a new life trajectory, and (2) the "new us" actually comes out from behind what was holding us back, and emerges brand new.

If it sounds like a miracle...it's because it is! Without even working harder--only by choosing to follow Him--a miracle happens in our life. We receive grace, and we are made new. 

Because of Jesus, our new self is like Jesus: kind, humble, gentle, filled with goodness, bold, purposeful, prayerful...a nd our new person naturally shines the love and joy of Jesus...and being a "fisher of men" just comes naturally. 

This is great news! 

No more searching for something better. No more ache! No more striving to matter or achieve! Just a new a person in the image of your Creator...and with your needs met you live your day helping others find Jesus so He can do the same in their lives.

Isn't it comforting to know that Jesus does know what we need...AND He knows how to solve it!
