Seasons Greetings From PCL!
On behalf of everyone at PCL, I wish you a safe and happy holiday season.

Once again, it's been a busy year! We've offered many exciting programs and achieved the best results yet from our summer reading program and mobile library project, "Summer Reading in the Schoolyard".

Thank you for your patience earlier this summer when we closed Knight Memorial for some weeks to complete essential work on the building. We have exciting plans for Knight Memorial in 2018 - read below for some great news!

As I write, PCL is entering a new phase of its strategic planning process. We've talked to hundreds of library users, community partners, teachers, city leaders and business owners to find out what different interest groups would like to see from the Library. We've had lots of detailed feedback and one thing is crystal clear - people love libraries and greatly value the role that they play in their communities. PCL will continue to listen to all our users as it implements the recommendations of the new plan in 2018. The best is yet to come for PCL!

Thanks to all our corporate and individual sponsors as well as to Mayor Elorza and the City Council members and State representatives who have supported us so positively throughout the year.

Finally, THANK YOU. If you are able, please remember PCL in your end of year giving. Have a happy and prosperous 2018!
