Church Security

by B. Mike Alexander, Jr.

Church security has been a major topic of discussion around Belin Memorial UMC since the First Baptist shootings days ago in Sutherland Springs, Texas. For a number of months we have been in discussion with security professionals about improving safety and security around our campus. We have already made some vast improvements. Let me assure you that our senior staff members are in the process of setting up additional meetings with professional security forces to learn more about our best course of prevention, action, and direction.

With that being said, we must also put our faith in God who watches over us faithfully. God be with us as we move into the days ahead!

Angel Trees
Angel trees tags are available in the Family Life Center and sanctuary.

If you wish to brighten a child's Christmas this year, choose an angel tree tag from one of the angel trees, shop for the items on the tag, and return all gifts to the Family Life Center between November 30 and December 3.

All angel tree gifts will be distributed to children here in our community.
