October's sure to be a month around tables.  Today find yourself elbow to elbow with ESABA friends around a table at our  October Lunch Bunch at Hmong Village .

Tomorrow, Wednesday, the City Council gathers to hear from you about the Sustainable To Go Ordinance. City Facts and Eureka figures get you informed then come over to City Hall on Wednesday to say more.

October Monthly Member Meeting will be at HealthPartners new Neuroscience Center digging in to resources from the Neighborhood STAR program  plus 50 Favorites for the East Side and a sneak peek at our annual Pub Crawl. Save the date for Thursday November 16!

We also will convene two resource gatherings to tackle tough issues for businesses:
October 18th we'll square off with a Business Health Insurance workshop to sort out the ACA for this year.

October 24th we're talking about the Americans for Disabilities Act (ADA) and the rash of suits going around. Come learn how to insulate your business, comply with the law, and give those pesky lawyers the boot. (Or at least a smaller shoe when they've asked for whole shoe closet.) Look for details for both on our website and in the next newsletter.

Here's to resources and recourses for your business,

-p

PS -  Mayors continue to gather around to hear from you before the election - Get to em while they're listening.

Mayors Mayors Everywhere

Local elections mean at least one thing: right now their all ears. See below for details about where to catch Mayoral hopefuls and give them an earful.
There is about a month left until the St.Paul mayoral election on November 7th.

See our full list of questions for the candidates and some quotes of what each of the candidates said here from the Metro State Forum on Sept 22.
