Looking for Some Extra Support? Talent Management Can Help
The Talent Management partners (peer observers, new teacher support partners and instructional leadership team partners) are available to help teachers with problems of practice you might be experiencing as a new teacher, returning teacher or senior team lead/team lead. Talent Management partners have expertise in how to support new teachers, how to support teachers in specialized content areas and around the LEAP Framework for Effective Teaching, as well as how to hold crucial conversations to get "unstuck" on recurring issues and how to design learning cycles to help you meet your instructional goals.

Sign Up for Culturally Responsive Education PDU
The Culturally Responsible Foundational PDU is an introductory exploration of culturally responsive teaching practices. Participants will learn about how teachers can begin to meet the needs of diverse learners by building relationships with students and families, creating a caring environment, and providing relevant and rigorous content to all students. Learn About Classroom Strategies to Support Diverse Learners
Teachers who support diverse learners, including students of color and English learners, can learn more about research-backed best practices for improving academic outcomes using classroom strategies. Recent research by DPS indicates that students who speak English as a first language may benefit from attending a bilingual school. CollaboRATE Survey Coming in January
DPS' all-employee engagement survey, CollaboRATE, will open Jan. 3 and run through Jan. 12. This confidential survey is one of the most important tools that you can use to help shape the future of your team and DPS. As a teacher, you will be able to share feedback about your principal, assistant principal, deans and, if applicable, Teacher Leadership & Collaboration team leads.

Earn a $250 Referral Bonus for Referring Teachers and SSPs
Help make Team DPS even stronger -- and receive a bonus -- by referring teachers and SSPs to work for DPS! We are looking for math, special education, ELA-S and diverse teachers, as well as SSPs including nurses, social workers, psychologists, teachers for the visually impaired, speech language pathologists, occupational and physical therapists, and counselors.

All current DPS team members can earn a $250 referral bonus for each person they refer who applies and is hired into one of the roles mentioned above. The more people you refer and are hired, the bigger your bonus! Start by completing this form. For every referral, you will need to complete a new form.
