We seek to boost awareness and visibility of Chicago's vibrant theatre scene, marketing Chicago as a theatre destination and sustainably growing audiences for Chicago theatres. Calls for Artists & Arts Organizations

Chicago-based artists and organizations are invited to submit proposals to participate in the 2018 season of Night Out In the Parks, with the Year of Creative Youth as a featured theme! Supported by the City of Chicago and the Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events, the Chicago Park District's Night Out in the Parks annually brings more than 1,000 culture and arts focused events for community-building opportunities in neighborhood parks across Chicago. Arts organizations, collectives and individual artists are encouraged to apply at nightoutintheparks.com.

In a public/private partnership with the Chicago Public Library, Chicago Housing Authority, Illinois Housing Development Authority and DCASE, Evergreen Real Estate Group invites professional artists to submit their qualifications for a public art commission for the new Northtown Branch Library. DCASE is accepting music submissions from established musicians and bands for consideration to perform at the Taste of Chicago Bud Light Stage this July 11-15, 2018. All applicants must live within 50 miles of Chicago, and those who performed on the stage in 2018 are not eligible this year. For more information, visit cityofchicago.org/dcase.
 
 
 
 
Grants

Only two more application assistance workshops remain!
All applicants that did not attend a workshop in 2015 or 2016 are required to attend one this year in order to apply. The Individual Artists Program aims to assist Chicago's professional artists in creating work that elevates their careers and brings value to the City of Chicago. Project-based grants will be made to resident Chicago artists over the age of 18 across numerous disciplines and through six funding categories.
