King of Prussia Featured in Philadelphia Business Journal
The 16-page supplement recapped a year of tremendous growth in King of Prussia

King of Prussia's impressive growth was at the center of a 16-page advertorial in the November 10th issue of the Philadelphia Business Journal.  Sponsored by King of Prussia District, the informative piece was distributed to 18,000 subscribers in Philadelphia and surrounding areas and showcased  how KOP is transforming into one of America's great edge cities.

With over $1B in economic development activity currently underway, King of Prussia truly is Montgomery County's economic engine.  From luxurious new retailers flocking to KOP,  to  a hot and ever-growing restaurant scene, and thousands of new multi-family residential units under construction, 2017 was a year to remember.

"King of Prussia continues to experience tremendous growth with positive gains in employment, housing and investor confidence," says Eric Goldstein, Executive Director of King of Prussia District.

In addition to highlighting these many successes, the advertorial announced the news that King of Prussia improved its business tax position and now ranks 3rd lowest among all of its suburban competitors.  This, plus new commercial office construction, top-dollar real estate transactions and solid leasing activity, points toward a strong KOP market.

The
supplement  also looked to the future,  stressing  the importance of public transportation initiatives like King of Prussia Rail and showcasing what is to come in 2018 and beyond.

King of Prussia Attracts New Headquarters & Businesses
King of Prussia's business community continues to grow

As home to the largest concentration of employment and commercial office space in the suburban Philadelphia region, King of Prussia continues to live up to its longtime reputation as a thriving economic hub. Businesses in KOP enjoy unparalleled accessibility, competitive business taxes, diverse and high-quality housing options, a safe and clean community, an award-winning school district, world-class  dining  and shopping, and many other benefits.  It's no wonder why our business community continues to grow!

On November 2, it was announced that The American College of Financial Services is moving its operational headquarters from  Bryn Mawr to 630 Allendale Road in  King of Prussia. The relocation to the newly purchased building will be completed by June 2019.  Increased square footage and proximity to a diverse and dynamic area will provide a state-of-the-art setting for the continued growth of The College and its educational programs.  According to The College's President and CEO  Robert Johnson , "This move represents a renewed investment in the mission of the institution, which is to raise the level of professionalism in financial services by promoting education, ethical practices and the pursuit of new knowledge for the benefit of society."

Another notable business moving to KOP is goBalto Inc., a San Francisco software company that works to accelerate drug trials. goBalto signed a new five-year lease on 4,631 SF at Oak Hill Plaza at 200 N. Warner Road in King of Prussia.

Additionally, Workhorse Brewing Company is heading to King of Prussia. The new brewery will open in the spring of 2018, complete with a tasting room and event space, in a 62,000 SF facility at 250 King Manor Drive.

Philadelphia Business Journal also announced on October 25 that Main Line Health is in the early stages of planning to expand its suburban presence with the construction of a major new building in The Village at Valley Forge.
