Please join the Geneseo Wind Ensemble in their celebration of the lives of composers David Maslanka and Karel Husa. An un-published manuscript found in the music library has only been performed one other time. Free and open to the public. MAKACADEMY
 
Just opened at 23 Main Street in Livonia is Makacademy (pronounced Make Academy). This is a space for people of all ages to create anything and everything with people and infrastructure to foster that development.   
 
Included in the space is equipment and training on equipment, such as, 3-D printers, STEM toys, metal and woodworking machines, pottery and arts equipment, and much more. Classes are also offered on marketing, investing coding, welding, machining, pottery, painting, sewing and much more. There are also trainings for school aged children and even maker space birthday parties where children can make something to bring home.

LIVINGSTON COUNTY, NY ROCKS
This is a fun activity of painting small rocks with inspirational and friendly messages/art to enlighten a total strangers day! The goal is to paint rocks and place them throughout Livingston County for people to find. Make sure you include the message, "Post to Livingston County, NY ROCKS FB Group!" on the back of the painted rock. When people find them they can come to the FB group and post pictures.
