Rethink Robotics Introduces Intera 5.2 with Insights

Rethink Robotics' recent release of Intera® 5.2is an expansion of its first-of-its-kind Intera software platform that provides critical data insights to manufacturers in real time. Rethink Robotics' Sawyer™ gives operators and line managers valuable data at a glance, including metrics such as cycle time, part count, speed and force.
The new feature, Intera Insights, displays key performance indicators (KPIs) via a customizable dashboard on the robot's on-board display, making it accessible directly on the factory floor. The same charts are also fed back to the Intera Studio platform, providing visibility to other members of the manufacturing team.

Complete solution for positioning electromechanical drives
The EMCA is a complete solution for positioning electromechanical drives and for easy format changes. With integrated power and control electronics the EMCA avoids long motor cables and therefore improves the electromagnetic capability. This integrated package reduces the installation workload and required space in a machine. Direct installation is made possible thanks to IP54 protection as standard and IP65 as an option.
The EMCA comes standard with a single-turn absolute encoder or optional muti-turn absolute encoder:
Resolution up to 32 bits or > 4 billion revolutions
Integrated buffer for saving the position values
Storage for up to 7 days without external auxiliary battery
The time can be extended by up to 6 months when using the optional battery box
