Today's Scripture(s) - Matthew 5:16
I had a dream some time ago. I feel led to share it with you today. I was sitting and talking with my children on yesterday and the Lord brought this dream to mind and I shared it with them. In this dream I was standing in a room with huge windows and as I stood looking out of the window I began to see huge stones flying and falling to the earth and I became very excited and kept looking up even as the stones were falling and crashing into buildings and things I said "This is it!" and looking to the sky I exclaimed "Where's Jesus" and I was straining up on my toes and then suddenly, boom! I took off flying upward and I screamed out, "YES!" I awoke. In that dream I distinctly felt and knew that my body had been changed, when I took off flying upward I became a beam of light so it seemed, this leads us to:
Today's Scripture(s) - Matthew 5:16 "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven." There was darkness within us until we came to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and he saved us. Then we were able to "Arise, shine, for the light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee. For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee." Isaiah 60:1-2. Don't be content with being a broken vessel, the Lord wants to perfect you. His light shines brightest through vessels of honor. "Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, let everyone that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity. But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonor. If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work." 2 Timothy 2:19-21. Again, don't be content with being a broken vessel. Be transformed by the renewing of your mind through the word of God. Be transformed by prayer and fasting and communing with God. Be transformed by mortifying the deeds of your body. Be transformed by presenting your body a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God which is your reasonable service. Be transformed by acknowledging the Father in all your ways. Be transformed by walking by faith and not by sight. Be transformed by walking in the Spirit and not fulfilling the lust of the flesh. Be transformed by resisting the devil and he will flee from you. Be transformed by worshiping the Father in spirit and in truth. Be transformed by giving the Father thanks and praise for all He has done. Be ye transformed by seeking first the kingdom of God and His righteousness. This is how He wants to shine through you: Mark 9:3 "And his raiment became shining, exceeding white as snow; so as no fuller on earth can white them." Allow Him to be perfected in you, so that His light can shine wholly, untainted. Blessings!
