WOW !
Please join us this Sunday, July 10 after the
8AM service in the Lea Room and after the 9:30 service at the park  (or in the McClain room in case of rain!).

We will be discussing the Wow card results and doing some visioning and dreaming about our future together.

This "word cloud" is a visual representation of all the responses we put on our WOW cards.  The larger the word or phrase, the more freq uently it appeared.
  • What does it make you think?
  • What is larger than you thought it would be?
  • What surprises you by its presence or absence?

"I CAN'T SEE BUT GOD IS IN MY EYES"

Pray for Peace in South Sudan
This week, South Sudan marks its fifth anniversary as an independent nation.  Join us as we pray for a lasting peace in South Sudan.

A Prayer for Peace in Times of Conflict
O God, you have bound us together in a common life. Help us, in the midst of our struggles for justice and truth, to confront one another without hatred or bitterness, and to work together with mutual forbearance and respect; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen. (Book of Common Prayer, p. 824)

We pray that the transitional government may live into the peace agreement, and that the basic necessities of food, water, and shelter will be provided to the people of South Sudan.

We pray, too, that the voices of the people of South Sudan will be heard.  The photo above is part of a project called Dear World.  See more powerful images and messages from the people of South Sudan HERE.

The magnificent Tiffany window in the Sanctuary is original to the building and was a gift given by the Hoyt family when the church was built. Please click HERE to read the interesting details about The Stained Glass Windows at the Church on the Hill.

Grand Receipts Total $1,200+ for March-June!
Many thanks to everyone who turns in their Grand receipts.  That simple act raised $1,200+ in four months and is enough for one full scholarship for the mission trip.  This fundraiser will continue indefinitely, so keep bringing your receipts to church!  We even have a collection can at the park services.
