Did you know ...that the MEIC Conference packet has been sent to all Parent Contacts? As a Parent Contact you will be given the opportunity to attend at no direct cost to you. The conference will be on May 6 and 7, please send back your registration packet as soon as possible. If you have received a packet and will not be able to attend please let us know so that we can provide this opportunity to another parent in your program. Please contact us at eiplp@live.com or 1-877-353-4757 with questions or if you are unable to attend.

Did you know...that the EIPLP is always looking for parents to write articles about their leadership experiences in Early Intervention? Do you want to share your experience with others? Check out this template created to help guide you in writing an article.

Do you know... what the Early Intervention Interagency Coordinating Council (ICC) is? The ICC is a federally mandated statewide inter-agency group that advises and assists the Department of Public Health on Early Intervention. There are seven parent representatives who are members of the ICC, one parent for each region of the state and an at-large representative. The parent members are appointed to represent parents and their perspectives about early intervention policies and procedures. There is currently an opening for an At-Large Parent Rep., this parent can be from any region of the state. Please contact Darla at darla.gundler@state.ma.us or 1-877-353-4757 if you are interested or you have questions.

Did you know...March is the distribution month for the NCSEAM Family Survey? Some families in EI will receive a survey to let the program and the DPH know how their program is doing. You may get one if you have been in EI for more than 6 months. The EIPLP website has great videos and a powerpoint to explain the Family Survey process under the "Child and Family Outcomes" icon and at www.eiplp.org/child_family_outcomes.html
