CRC was happy to participate, share a table with the YWCA of Northeast Kansas, and talk with others about our organization! The one day total for 2016 Topeka Gives event was an astounding
$496,288.92. Great way to illustrate charitable giving in Topeka. Thanks Topeka Community Foundation!

Special CEO Round Table Scheduled for July
Friday July 15, CRC will be hosting the CEO Round Table meeting at a special time.
Our July meeting will be Friday July 15 at NOON at Avondale East NET Center. Lunch will be provided at no cost.
This special time will feature the topic of
Board Selection, Who is at the Table? We have had several requests from CEO and Executive Directors to discuss this topic.
Want to attend? You must be a CEO, Executive Director, or a member of your organization's leadership team. Invite your colleagues at other non-profits too!

Shawnee County seeks election workers
Shawnee County Election Office is beginning a "Day Off for Democracy" campaign targeted at recruiting corporate employees to be loaned as a volunteer on election days.
In addition to the volunteer program, Shawnee County Election Office is also seeking qualified election workers.
Be a part of Democracy! Poll workers are compensated at $110 for an entire day, positions are paid at minimum wage during election day 6:00 am - 8:00 pm. Worker qualifications: at least 16 years of age, American Citizen, be attend three hour paid training.
