This week, we not only want to show you how to use an SMS template, but we also want to tell you how powerful SMS messages can be. Sending bulk SMS messages from the Generate Messages screen is a great way to save time and get an important message out to your customers quickly.
According to statistics from Locket (an Android app), the average user checks his or her phone 110 times a day! It is virtually impossible for your customer to overlook your SMS message. Use this powerful form of communicating to tell your customer that their bill is due, or even send out a daily special to boost sales!
The possibilities are endless with SMS messaging and we have a template built right into your Route Manager Software to get you started. Furthermore, you can make your own templates with as many messages as you'd like.
Go into RMA root folder > CMC_Sample_Templates > Copy Sample Templates for each message type:
 
Then Paste into RMA > DATA > CMC_Templates into the corresponding folders.
Go to the Generate Messages Screen - now you will be able to see the templates available to you when the ellipses box (file folder location box) is clicked:
 
You may open and modify a template with NotePad to customize your message - Always save to RMA > DATA > CMC_Templates > Corresponding Folder. Don't forget to save your template each time you make a change. If you need assistance modifying a template, give us a call!
