The BCPS One Student Information System (SIS) has launched! The SIS will remain familiar to users, but will include enhanced functionality and new features. The BCPS One SIS has also been modernized to have a more responsive, accessible design.
After logging in, users will maintain access to the same functionality and features they saw in STARS. Users will be able to complete daily transactions following the same work flow and procedures they currently follow. Users will also see new features including:
- Student Centric Navigation will allow users to access attendance, basic information and the enrollment history for a particular student without searching for the student again.
- Student Alert Flags maintain student privacy, while still alerting users that the student has an IEP, 504 or has been identified as an English Learner (EL).
- The Emergency Contact Form will provide parents/guardians with additional information regarding the type of phone calls they can expect to receive from BCPS's automated phone system. The BCPS One SIS will offer a new feature to track parent/guardian preferences for automated non-emergent/outreach phone calls.
