We are now casting extras for the Netflix series "Mindhunter" from executive producers David Fincher and Charlize Theron. 

                   

  • Please note these positions WILL require a costume fitting prior to filming. The series takes place in the late 1970's. 
  • Please do not send an email with no pics, sizes, or contact info.  Make sure your email is complete. 
  • These are NOT principal roles.  This is NON UNION EXTRA WORK. 
  • THIS SHOOTS IN PITTSBURGH. 
  • You MUST have reliable transportation prior in order to be considered.  More often than not, you will be booked almost a few days, if not a week in advance. This should give you plenty of time to arrange a ride. 



STAND INS: 

MIKE SI: Male, Caucasian, 5'11"-6'1", dark full hair. Scheduled to work 7/15. $150/12hr.  Put "MIKE SI" in subject line. 

DETECTIVE BARR SI:  Male, Caucasian, 5'7"-5'9". Dark Hair. Scheduled to work 7/15. $150/12hr.  Put "BARR SI" in subject line. 

TEACHER SI: Female, Caucasian, 5'6"-5'7", around 125-150lbs. Dark Hair. Scheduled to work 7/14. $150/12 hr. Put "TEACHER SI" in subject line.

SHOOTS JULY 15th:

BUSINESS MEN: Men, all ethnicities, ages 25-70. Must be available for a costume fitting on Monday, July 11th or Tuesday, July 12th. Must have 32 thru 38 waist size and 38 thru 44 Jacket size. NO GOATEES. Mustaches and full beards are fine.  Shoots in Coraopolis area.  Put "BUSINESS" in subject line.  

S HOOTS JULY 18th-25th:

PRISONERS: Men, all ethnicities, ages 18+. Rougher looking. Long hair, mustaches, beards, are great.    This is scheduled to work Monday, July 18th. Some will be asked to come back 7/19, 7/20, 7/21, 7/25 and 7/26. Shoots in Greensburg area.  Put "PRISONER" in subject line and detail your availability on the dates listed above. 

SHOOTS JULY 26th:

**All roles this day must be comfortable being around real cigarette smoke for 12-14hrs**

OLDER MALE WAITER: **FEATURED** Male, any ethnicity, ages 40+. MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE AS A WAITER. Please detail your serving experience. Shoots in Delmont area.   Put "OLDER MALE WAITER" in subject line. See reference photo:



MALE BARTENDER:  Male, all ethnicities, ages 25+. MUST HAVE BARTENDING EXPERIENCE. Shoots in Delmont area.  Put "BARTENDER" in subject line. 

FEMALE HOSTESS:  Female, all ethnicities, ages 18-35. Shoots in Delmont area.  Put "HOSTESS" in subject line. 

STEAKHOUSE PATRON:  Men & Women, all ethnicities, ages 18+. Also note if you are willing to smoke real cigarettes in scene. Shoots in Delmont area.  Put "STEAKHOUSE" in subject line.  

SHOOTS JULY 27th:

SHOE STORE CUSTOMERS:  Men & Women, all ethnicities, ages 18+. Shoots in McKeesport area.  Put "SHOE STORE" in subject line. 

8-14 YEAR OLD KIDS: Boys and Girls, all ethnicities. MUST BE NO YOUNGER THAN 8 Years Old. Shoots in McKeesport area.  Put 8-14 in the subject line.

**Rate for extras IS NOW $64 for 8 hours. After 8 hours OT kicks in.**


ALSO NEEDED...
OLDER CARS: We are looking for older cars from the period of 1962 to 1995. Please include a current picture of the vehicle and the make/model/year/color of your vehicle. Put "PERIOD CAR" in subject line. Rate for period cars is $175/12. After 12 hours OT kicks in.

THIS--------->   You should  expect 12+ hour shoots . Not all days will be this long, but you should always be prepared to be there for the entire duration of the shoot day. Please keep that in mind when accepting a booking. You cannot leave to pick up kids, walk dog, doctor's appointments, etc.



While we love the enthusiasm of some of you, it is not necessary to submit multiple times a day or mulitple times for a single role. Thanks!
