The Board of Directors of the Penn Legacy is pleased to congratulate our Director of Coaching and Player Development (DOC), Seamus Donnelly, for recently achieving his UEFA B Coaching License, a prestigious and internationally acclaimed designation. Seamus has spent the past year working hard toward this certification and this past April he completed the last phase of the course in Ireland. The UEFA B license is one of the top European coaching licenses available to a professional soccer coach abroad. This is an extraordinary accomplishment to achieve as a professional coach, especially for a coach in the United States. In addition to the UEFA B, Seamus also holds the highest level US coaching license, the USSF National "A" License. Seamus also works with the U.S. Soccer Federation as a youth National team scout and Development Academy evaluator.
Our players and coaches are fortunate to have a DOC with such high level coaching credentials. Seamus is able to bring his experiences and knowledge to work in developing a Club Curriculum for our coaches to pass on to our players with a strong focus on player development and a model that will help to develop our players into well-rounded soccer players that wear the Penn Legacy jersey with pride.
