WHO TELLS YOUR STORY?
The full line from the Broadway musical, Hamilton, is "Who lives, who dies, who tells your story?" I can't get it out of my mind, both the line and the melody.

This play has not only captured my attention, but also many others' including young people. What is it about this production that speaks to so many people? The music is fresh and inventive. The cast looks like America in terms of its diversity. It points to the complexity of governing.

The play asks questions like how does one live one's life and continue to do meaningful work in the midst of sorrow, deception, and lies? What is friendship? These are important questions for all ages.

How do I tell my story? How do I want to be remembered? What is important to me and am I living my life as if these beliefs, qualities, and actions are important? What am I curious about? How do I spend my time? How do I communicate?

These are questions we often explore in coaching relationships. They are important. They get to the heart of who we are as individuals, and as members of families and communities.
