July 10 at 9:30am in the Dunlop Room

Who are our neighbors? Join us for the next C&C series, when we will be getting to know our neighbors, right here in our church building. This week we'll be hearing from Danielle Stonehirsch with YSOP, our primary user of the Epiphany Mission Center.
Upcoming Dates: July 24 & August 7

NEW: Wednesday Silent Prayer
Come and join us for 20 minutes of silent prayer and meditation followed by a short time of prayer for the parish. We will meet in the sanctuary on Wednesdays at  11:30am. All are welcome. To find out more, contact Catriona: [email protected]

Books & Bites
You are invited to peruse our selection of books each Sunday during the Welcome Table breakfast after the 8:00am service and during Coffee Hour after the 11:00am service.
To donate books please look for the cart any Sunday located in the narthex.  All proceeds benefit our many Welcome Table programs.

Travel Size Toiletry Items Needed
Traveling this summer? Please share with us your unopened hotel toiletries. We always need soap, lotion, shampoo (no need to bring hair conditioner or mouth wash) or other useful items like toothbrushes, socks, razors, combs, etc.  There is a box in the parish office where toiletries are collected throughout the year. We are grateful for your support of this important ministry.

Calling Committee Communique
We are so grateful for our volunteer writing team who completed the first draft of the Parish Profile, and ahead of schedule, too. We are passing some minor questions on to Bea Dermer and Ann Gordon who will be reviewing the draft, making sure that it has a single voice, and editing and proof reading. We will do the final reading of the profile at our July 12th meeting. After that, we will share the copy with the vestry, and hope that they can review by July 19th. We are excited to be at this stage; we're getting closer to submitting the Parish Profile. You may reach the Rector Search Committee at  [email protected], or ask for us in church.

Gracious God, we pray for this parish church and for the Calling Committee as we seek to call a new Rector. Help us to be strong, open, forgiving -- and truthful to those discerning a call to minister in this place. Accompany us on our journey in the knowledge of your love for us and your power to unite us all. AMEN

Upcoming Guest Performances
Sunday, July 10, 2016, 4:00 PM:  Mano a Mano
Five classically trained singer-musicians hailing from various provinces of Cuba united in complex harmonies against innovative rhythms rendering fresh interpretations of Cuban classics, dynamic new compositions and unique covers of pop songs. Mano a Mano's vision is to unite hearts and erase barriers of discrimination and promote LGBT equality through the language of music. This historic tour marks another milestone in the rapprochement between the United States and Cuba and the first time a gay music group will visit the United States. Tickets available through Eventbrite.

Please note that all of Epiphany's guest artists and ensembles handle their own ticket sales. Please contact the respective individuals/ensembles for ticket sales and information pertaining to these concerts.

Book Study: Racial Reconciliation Through Christian Practice
St. Columba's invites members of the diocese to discuss Jennifer Harvey's " Dear White Christians: For Those Still Longing for Racial Reconciliation." Jennifer Harvey argues for a radical shift in how justice-committed Christians think about race.  Learn more.

Prayer & Pastoral Care

Prayer List
We invite you to add those on your heart to our prayer list.
We will pray for them aloud on Wednesdays at our 12:10 Healing Service and will add them to the Sunday list. Contact the church office with the name of the person and what we need to know about them.

Pastoral Care
If you or someone you know is in need of prayer or conversation, please contact the church office. We would rather hear from many than miss the opportunity to connect with someone.
