Stay tuned for new coffee arrivals!
Full bodied without being heavy, this is a decidedly clean cup. Predominantly rounded with light fruit notes of white grape. Hints of dark chocolate. Slight glazed almond nuance as the cup cools.

I don't usually favor blends, but this one is perfect. It is excellent first thing in the morning - it's sweet and mellow but has just enough bite to wake up your taste buds. I first had this as a guest at the Kings Daughters Inn and tracked Muddy Dog down after inquiring about the name of the roaster.

Very smooth with a sweetness all it's own. Excellent all-around coffee for any occasion.

Big body, syrupy, earth, twist of lemon in the finish.

Had my first cup this morning. Has a wonderful "earthy" flavor. LOVE IT!

PERSONAL STORIES:

An amazing and heart warming incident happened on Tuesday.  A woman walked into our shop and wanted to buy coffee for her husband, who was sitting in the car.  I noticed he had a sling on his arm.  He attempted to come inside and his wife asked him to stay in the car.  So, I brought coffee outside to him to choose from.  It turns out, this man, literally, just got out of the hospital from shoulder surgery.  He insisted that his wife drive him to Muddy Dog Roasting Company BEFORE he went back to the hotel.  It so happens that they are staying in a hotel while their kitchen is being remodeled.  So, not only is this couple currently not in their own house, but he needed our coffee immediately after surgery.  A bag of coffee and three cups to go and they were on their way.  Now that's dedication!  Wishing you a speedy recovery Jon!!!

We are so excited to welcome Colin and Deanna Crossman's son into the world.  The Crossman's own both The King's Daughters Inn and The Mayton Inn.  When we first met Colin and Deanna seven years ago, they were sitting in our roastery, sampling coffee for the newly restored King's Daughters Inn.  Since that time, they have opened another boutique hotel with a high-quality restaurant and have just started their own family.  Also during that time, our business arrangement has turned into a friendship.   Help us congratulate the Crossman family on the birth of their first child, Xander Quinn!  Love you guys!!

Last Friday night neither one of us felt like cooking.  So, we headed out to Kimbap in Raleigh to see our friend, Kim Hunter.  Kim opened her Korean-inspired restaurant after several years of working at the Western Wake Farmers Market, where we first met her and became friends.  She uses local food and is excellent at accommodating dietary restrictions.  Check it out!

One of the greatest things about our job is all the people we meet and become friends with.     We are grateful for each and every one of you!

Thanks again for your continued support!
