Looking for volunteer opportunities to help within your community? Lazarus House will be hosting a volunteer orientation on Saturday, July 16th. During these sessions, gain awareness of Lazarus House programs, learn about the many ways volunteers provide assistance within these programs and tour the shelter. June Ambassador of the Month

George Gladis, Volkman Insurance

With great enthusiasm the Batavia Chamber of Commerce would like to announce George Gladis as June's Ambassador of the Month. George is an insurance agent at Volkman Insurance Agency and is very active in the Batavia Chamber. George is a regular attendee at all of our events, from volunteering at the Inspire Awards to attending the Chamber's annual golf outing. George represents the Chamber and local business at our ribbon cutting ceremonies and our monthly networking events. We are thrilled to have George as such a committed member of the Chamber and a terrific Ambassador. Your dedication , time and effort are appreciated and highly valued by the Board of Directors, Chamber Staff and Membership.

Batavia Chamber Mixer

July 7th, 6-8 PM, Windmill City Festival Beer Tent

Windmill City Festival

With such a large number of fun and unique activities for the entire family, Windmill City Festival is sure to be the best fest in the western suburbs! We have amazing food vendors lined up and the Chamber will be serving beer inside the beer tent on Saturday night from 5-11 PM.

Multi-Chamber Networking on the Patio

July 21st, 4:30 - 6:30 PM

Batavia, Geneva, and St. Charles Chambers are all invited to Networking on the Patio hosted by St. Charles Chamber's Women's Business Council. Enjoy appetizers, networking, a cash bar, and a 50/50 raffle! For more information and to register, click here.

The Batavia Chamber of Commerce has partnered with the Batavia Park District to bring you the Illinois State Championship
Chili Cook-off Sat., July 30, Batavia Riverwalk. Competitors can enter in the following three categories: Illinois State Championship Cook-Off, Traditional (includes Restaurant Division), and new for this year, Salsa!
