  4. To select a SIG, click on the drop down below your chosen SIG/s and click "Yes" to join the SIG.
  5. Click "Save" at the bottom of the page to save your changes.

A new survey by CheapTickets.com says Atlanta is among the Top 10 destinations for barbecue in the U.S. Top 10 barbecue destinations were selected by CheapTickets' editors from the site's top 150 markets. Top 10 cities were then ranked by 521 adults via Google Consumer Surveys on April 28. Topping the list was Austin, Texas.

No foodstuff is discussed with as much near-religious fervor as barbecue. Whether they hail from Texas, Memphis, the Carolinas or another region with long-held traditions, smoked meat loyalists will rabidly defend their hometown's version as superior to the rest. One place that's not often cited in said argument, however, is Cleveland. Celebrity chef and restaurateur Michael Symon, a Cleveland native, wants to change all that.

A new Massachusetts barbecue restaurant from an award-winning pit master is set to open in Kendall Square. Chef Andy Husbands is bringing a wide range of slow-cooked barbecue to The Smoke Shop, which is scheduled to debut on June 25. Husbands has been part of a competitive barbecue team with fellow Boston pitmaster Chris Hart since the 1990s. The duo' team, IQUE, has won dozens of Kansas City Barbecue Society championships, hundreds of barbecue ribbons and in 2009 became the first team from the Northeast to ever win the Jack Daniel's World Championship Invitational Barbecue.
